These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tim Karlowitz, the developer and operator of the Kairos application. Kairos offers premium features through a subscription service ("Pro Subscription"). The Pro Subscription provides access to enhanced features and capabilities.
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Pro Subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TIM KARLOWITZ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app settings or by contacting us at support@journalwithkairos.com.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Germany, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@journalwithkairos.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS).
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tim Karlowitz regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our website, sending you an email notification, or providing an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
